Showing Your Home

Most likely, you will not be present during any showings, but you can influence the successfulness of any showing. After you removed any clutter, make sure everything is spotless, go through the house and open every window covering and turn on as many lights as possible. A bright house is very welcoming and also makes the house look more spacious. Check the thermostat to make certain that the house is comfortable. If you own pets make sure they are not is the house and also remove any evidence of them. If you have to be in your home during a showing, be as non-intrusive as possible. Interactions between you and any potential buyers can be awkward and could possibly turn off an otherwise interested buyer.
